The first generation 9-3, an updated Saab 900 (NG), was launched in 1998 for the 1999 model year, making this car one of the first of the convertible 9-3's to be built.

This newer model, in Convertible format, featured a more reliable and longer lasting hydraulically operated convertible roof with the roof in this car working exactly as it should be and ready to be used for the summer months ahead.

This example is powered by the B204 petrol engine, a low-pressure turbo (LPT) engine producing 130BHP with drive applied to its front wheels via a four speed automatic gearbox.
