Known as the split-window Corvette, the 1963 Stingray is an icon of American motoring and this beautiful 34k mile example is hard to fault.

Having undergone a recent extensive but sympathetic restoration at a cost of nearly 60k by Corvette Kingdom in the UK, the car presents in truly excellent condition and its remarkable bodylines and sheer presence are undeniable.

After a windows-out repaint, a gleaming coat of Sebring Silver paint was applied before the re-chromed brightwork and new window and door seals were fitted. The original steel wheels were refurbished, too, with period-correct tyres fitted.

The original black leather interior has been beautifully preserved and all mechanical items on the car were checked and refreshed as necessary.

The 327ci engine coupled with the 4-speed manual transmission and Hurst shifter is an absolute joy to drive with a great soundtrack from the new stainless steel exhaust system and plenty of power from the factory Holley carburetter equipped V8.

A truly impressive example of a rare and sought-after American muscle car icon that will pass any inspection.
